How to create a Pastor Letter to your congregations on the UCG.org website
1. Head to the Congregations Dashboard

2. Click on Pastor Letter next to your list of congregations

3. The title field will have some pre-filled information including your name and date. Feel free to change the title to whatever you like.
Your name might be different than what you desire, or the date might be to early. Go ahead and change them or delete them all together.

4. You can add additional Congregations to your pastor letter. Each congregation will receive the letter in their weekly friday email digest.

5. Optional: Write a Summary.
The summary will be shown under the title on the weekly congregation email digest. Or, you can leave it blank and the summary will instead use the Body text from the Letter Content field.

6. Write your Letter to your congregations.
If you chose not to use the summary field above (left it blank) then the first part of your letter will be used as preview displayed in the weekly email digest.

7. If you need to, you can change or add authors for the letter.

8. Click on Save at the top of the page.
As long as you save your letter before the weekly digest is sent out, you letter will be included in the email digest!
